Read all about our work ongoing throughout the session. We have a couple of exciting projects suppported by LTScotland – Write at Home and Nintendogs. We will also be using Moving Image Education to inspire writing and having fun at our afterschool animation clubs !
As we develop materials, particularly related to MIE texts, we will share them via this blog so you can try them with your class.
Please share with us any successful MIE or ICT supported lessons – or even any unsuccessful ! We will be sharing our success and failures !
With funding from LTScotland we have put together Movie Boxes which P4 will be taking home next term, to share writing activites with their parents based on 4 films from the BFI Starting Stories DVD.
Primary 3 are having great fun training their Nintendogs – they are also producing some great writing. Visit our Edudogs Blog to read all about it.
The pupils love getting comments, especially on their poems and stories – so let them know what you think!
Feedback from the HLP training day Motivating Writing in May was extremely positive and enthusiastic, but with lots of pleas for some hands on training on some of the software which had been demonstrated – Photostory 3, Comic Life and Digital Blue Animation. All the support materials for the day and useful links etc. have been posted here.
Hopefully people will add to the site as they try out some the ideas !
